Monotype with Chine Colle 'Through the Blue Window'
An original monotype artwork in square format, inspired by the delicate nature of the plant ‘honesty’, observed through a window. Parts of the image are actually printed using the honesty plant with oil based inks onto Fabriano paper. The print also incorporates some Chine Colle (addition of tissue paper within the print) and contains a richness of colour and textural elements.
This is a mounted print, mounted as seen using a high quality, ivory coloured, white core mount and backing board.
It is sold as an unframed print but it can be easily framed at home in a standard 12 × 12 inch frame.
